The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haydan, discussed today in Riyadh with the Acting Coordinator of Counter-Terrorism at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Christopher Landberg, the Deputy Special Envoy of the International Coalition to Defeat ISIS Ian McCarry and the US Ambassador to our country Stephen Fagin ways to strengthen security coordination to combat terrorist organizations.
During the meeting, the Minister of Interior praised the efforts of the United States of America and security coordination with our country in combating terrorist organizations and protecting the international navigation route from the threat of Houthi militias and the smuggling of weapons and missiles used by Houthi militias and terrorist organizations to threaten community peace and target state institutions and resources.
The Minister of Interior stressed the importance of cooperation in the field of training and qualification of the ministry's cadres in the field of combating terrorism and terrorist organizations, which would contribute to the eradication of hotbeds of terrorism that exploit the transitional phase in Yemen.
 For his part, the Acting Counter-Terrorism Coordinator at the US State Department, the Deputy Special Envoy of the International Coalition to Defeat ISIS  and the US Ambassador reiterated their country's continued cooperation and security coordination to support and stabilize Yemen.
