The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, met today with the Chargé d 'affaires of the Japanese Embassy, Ishibashi Marino, the Security Attaché of the European Union, the Security Attachés of the United States, Canada and Ireland, the Law Enforcement Attaché, the Political Attaché of the United Kingdom, the Defence Attaché of France, and the Deputy Heads of Mission of Australia, Denmark and Finland to our country.
During the meeting, the Minister of Interior reviewed a number of topics of common interest in the security field.
During the meeting, Major General Haidan praised the efforts of friendly countries in coordination and joint cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and organized crime and in the field of training and qualification for the employees of the Ministry of Interior.
The Minister of Interior pointed out that he looks forward to the continuation of friendly countries to qualify the Ministry's cadres in the field of training and qualification in the field of forensics, criminal research and cybersecurity, and to contribute to the rehabilitation and equipping of training centers for the security services in the liberated governorates.
Major General Haidan pointed to the Houthi militias' ambivalence in killing civilians and children, their threat to peace and societal security in neighboring countries, and the threat to international shipping lines, which confirms that the militias do not carry any national cause, but rather act as an arm to implement the Iranian agenda.
The Minister of Interior stressed the importance of the reincorporation of the Houthi group by the United States of America as a terrorist organization.
For his part, the Chargé d 'affaires of the Japanese Embassy and the security attachés and heads of missions from friendly countries expressed their happiness at the meeting and their aspiration to strengthen coordination in areas related to security.

Chargé d 'affaires of the Japanese Embassy Ishibashi Marino also confirmed that the Japanese government has received the training needs of the Yemeni Ministry of Interior and is ready at the beginning of next year to train and qualify a number of its employees in the field of coast guard.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Ahmed  Al-Dhaheri, and the Deputy Director General of the Office of the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant Colonel Saleh Nasser Basmir
