The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, chaired today, in the interim capital of Aden, a meeting of the Supreme Police Council, to discuss emerging issues before the Council for 2023, and a number of topics on the Council's agenda.
The Minister of Interior and the members of the Council appreciated the directives of His Excellency the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, to the government to adhere regularly to the salaries of security, army and state employees.
The Council also approved the promotion and settlement of the situation of more than (3,287 officers ) and more than ( 72,000 ) officers and members of the Ministry in all governorates of the Republic at home and abroad, with the exception of those who have been involved in terrorist acts with the coup militias. This decision will contribute to addressing the situation of many cadres and leaders of the Ministry of Interior.
The Council also approved the promotion and settlement of the status of the promoters by previous ministerial decisions and the continuation of the regularity of their periodic promotions.
In the presence of its members, the Council reviewed the decisions and recommendations contained in the previous minutes during the meetings of the Council held in 2023 and the level of their implementation, in addition to the issues referred to the Council.
