Today, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Security and Police Sector, Major General Mohammed Musaed Al-Amir, discussed with a delegation from Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), represented by Ms. Aki Boyer, Director of Operations and Medical Projects implemented by the Dutch organization Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) around the world and Mr. Robert Onus, Security and Safety Advisor to the organization , the aspects of cooperation and security coordination between the ministry and the organization , and the challenges and opportunities faced by the Dutch organization Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) throughout Yemen.
In the meeting attended by Major General Dr. Muthanna Al-Shuaibi, Acting President of the Police Academy, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Al-Amir, conveyed to them the greetings of His Excellency the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, and his interest and the Ministry's keenness to provide facilities for the work of international organizations working in various fields , and to secure their employees to carry out their humanitarian work inside Yemeni territory with ease and ease.
Major General Al-Amir reviewed with the delegation of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) a number of issues of common interest and coordination mechanism between the Ministry of Interior and the security and safety of MSF staff, praising MSF's efforts in providing humanitarian services to the Yemeni people in light of the situation in the country.
For their part, the delegation of Médecins Sans Frontières expressed their thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the Ministry of Interior and its security agencies for their continuous coordination and communication to ensure the safety of the organization's workers, and to provide all the necessary facilities for the work of the organization and its staff in the liberated governorates.
