Security Media: Aden
The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, met today in the interim capital of Aden with the representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in our country, Renault Dital, and Badr Farouk, the human rights officer.
During the meeting with the representative of the Office of the High Commissioner , the Minister of Interior discussed human rights issues and enforced disappearances that are related to combating terrorism.
Major General Haidan explained the interest of the ministry and its security services in working with human rights principles and taking legal measures for violators,  stressing the readiness of the ministry to provide facilities and cooperation  with the Office of the High Commissioner.
The Minister of Interior also listened from the representative of the Office of the High Commissioner to the activities that are being implemented and the activities planned to be implemented on human rights issues.
For his part, Renault Dettall, representative of the Office of the High Commissioner in Yemen, expressed his happiness at the meeting , and the Office's efforts to coordinate with the Ministry on human rights issues and seek to train a number of Ministry of Interior cadres externally in the field of human rights.
