The Minister of Interior,  Major General Ibrahim Haidan, praised the support of the friendly Kingdom of the Netherlands in the field of training and qualification at the Women's Police School in the temporary capital of Aden.
This came during a meeting between the Minister of the Interior, today, in the temporary capital of Aden, with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to our country, Jean Jorgen Sebin, and the First Secretary of the Embassy,  Tessa Shulma.
Major General Haidan also discussed aspects of cooperation  and joint coordination between our country and the Kingdom of the  Netherlands in the fields of training and qualification for cadres and employees of the Ministry of Interior and looked forward to more support in the field of women's police, information crimes and cases of persecution in the  media targeting women.
The Minister of Interior pointed to the ministry's efforts in the field of development and rehabilitation and its launch of the smart ID card project, which is a bright aspect through which a number  of security and economic problems will be solved and will contribute to facilitating the  detection of the fingerprints of violators of the law.
Major General Haidan reviewed with the Ambassador of the Netherlands the developments in the  Yemeni arena and the efforts of the Yemeni government to establish peace in light of the actions of the Houthi militias and their escalation through their targeting of naval vessels, which do not suggest their intention for peace and confirm their rejection of international efforts to do so.
For her part, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to our country, Jane Jorgen, expressed her happiness with the developments in the Ministry of Interior and her interest in women's police,  stressing her country's  endeavor to continue to support rehabilitation courses to serve the local community.
She pointed to the condemnation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands of the behavior of the Houthi militias , which affected maritime security and its efforts to support the rule of law
