The Minister of the Interior,  Major General Ibrahim Haidan, met today with the  Ambassador of Australia to our country, Mark Donovan.
During the meeting, the Minister of Interior discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries in the security fields and ways to enhance them.
The Minister of Interior reviewed the government's efforts for peace and strengthening security and stability in light of the intransigence of the Houthi militias and the continuation of terrorist acts against civilians and targeting international shipping lines.
For his part , Ambassador of Australia to our country Mark Donovan expressed his pleasure at the meeting and his aspiration to enhance security cooperation and coordination and exchange experiences in the field of  counterterrorism and counter-narcotics.
The meeting was attended by the political attaché of the Australian Embassy to our country, Jason Moore, and the Deputy Director General of the Office of the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant Colonel Saleh  Nasser Basmir.
