The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, inspected today the functioning of the Interim Capital Police Department in Aden and the level of functional discipline in the department.
During his field tour, he listened, accompanied by the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Interior for the Human and Financial Resources Sector, Major General Abdullah Yahya Jaber, the Undersecretary of the Security and Police Sector, Major General Mohammed Al-Amir, and the Undersecretary of the Civil Services Sector, Major General Abdul Majid Al-Amiri , and listened to the Director General of the Aden Police, Major General Motahar Ali Naji Al-Shuaibi, explaining the activities of the departments and sections and the difficulties facing the police in carrying out the tasks to the fullest.
The Minister of Interior affirmed the Ministry's readiness to provide all facilities that would contribute to improving the level of performance and upgrading the cadres of the Aden Police and Security.
He praised the efforts made by the security units in maintaining security and stability, noting the interest of His Excellency the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, in the security of Aden and his keenness and constant follow-up in resolving any difficulties faced by the Security Administration of Aden Governorate.
He stressed the need to raise security plans to strengthen security in the temporary capital of Aden and raise the necessary needs to perform security tasks
He stressed the need for job discipline and exerting all efforts to maintain the security of the governorate and fight manifestations that threaten security and stability.
In turn, the Director General of the Aden Police, Major General Motahar Al-Shuaibi, praised the visit of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior and its efforts to overcome and facilitate the difficulties faced by the security units in light of the crisis that the country has been going through since the coup of the Houthi terrorist militia against state institutions.
