“The Iranian Houthi coup militia is the flip side of the drug scourge. It poses an imminent threat to Yemen and Yemenis, as well as to security and stability in the region". This came in the speech of Minister Haidan on the occasion of our country's celebration with the rest of the world of the World Anti-Drug Day. It was under the slogan "Communicate the facts, save lives". It coincides with the 26th of June of each year.
The Minister of Interior added in a speech in which the security media received a copy of it "that the Houthi militias and behind them Iran used and traded drugs. It is in order to finance their senseless war on Yemen and Yemenis, where the Houthi militia, with the direct support of Tehran, worked to flood our homeland and neighboring countries with drugs. The drugs even became a weapon in their hands used to brainwash the young generations and force them into the fountain of senseless battles. It is to be a few of their building blocks and easy prey for their misguided ideas. It is a continuation of their approach in tearing the social fabric after they turned against the Republic and eliminated state institutions."
He stressed the readiness of the Ministry of the Interior to provide all the material and human capabilities it can for the security services specialized in the fight against drugs. So, they can play their role in the required manner and with high professionalism. Also, they are up to the level of confidence and responsibility to confront and confront drug crimes. Reviewing the achievements made in the field of   drug control in the past year. It included the seizure of (77) crimes of abuse, (9) crimes of drug smuggling, and (34) crimes of trafficking and promotion. 
He pointed out that the achievements of the past year also included the total quantities seized (4 ) tons, ( 455 )  kilograms of hashish resin , (115) kilograms of cocaine, (20) kilograms of heroin drug, and (13) kilograms of crystal meth shbo. The quantities destroyed based on judicial rulings (5) tons of hashish, (113) kilograms of heroin drug, (390) kilograms of cocaine drug, and (14,500) pills of kryptagon drug. 
The Minister of the Interior paid tribute to all sincere efforts aimed at maintaining security and stability. As well as, to the anti-drugs men for their distinguished efforts in confronting drug crimes and their dens.  He said, "I stand firm in their efforts to achieve further successes in this regard. This is an occasion to unite the efforts of the world community in the fight against drugs and their devastating effects on life and human beings. It is also day when alarm bells are sounded all over the world. Because, everyone is alerted to the danger of drugs that have become a threat not to any particular society or country, but to the entire human community." 
 "This crime crosses continents and borders, and its danger extends to all parts of the world and to places that we did not imagine before. Therefore the celebration of this day comes within the framework of international endeavors. It is to unite the efforts of all the world in reducing the dangers of drugs and ways to combat them. It is also to find more coordination and constructive cooperation in controlling drug control, preventing their spread and the aggravation of their danger to the peoples of the world. Our country Yemen is part of this international and humanitarian effort. It has contributed a large part in this field and continues this effort with all its capabilities." 
Minister Haidan also stressed the importance of   concerted efforts by all security agencies, society, media, institutions and civil society organizations. It is to carry out the responsibilities entrusted to them. It will be achieved by combating drugs and ending their suffering, which raided the homeland and society from all outlets on land, sea and air.  The last of drug is the shabbah, which   affects the mind and blood of man and turns it into a deadly monster. It was the cause of heinous crimes in a number of governorates of the Republic. 
 He stressed the need to communicate the slogan of our country's celebration of this occasion to every house, village, district and governorate. It is to clarify the danger of drugs and their ugliness. In addition, it is to raise awareness in schools, universities and cities. So that, everyone knows that the spectre of drugs is walking close to the selves of our livers. The society must be confronted with the facts that show the ugliness of drugs that try to kill with the flower of youth and the future of our countrymen. It also tries to destroy our country's economy and capabilities. So, it requires everyone to immunize the children and young people of the country from this imminent and devastating danger.
