A statistical report issued by the General Administration for Rehabilitation and Training in the Human and Financial Resources Sector revealed that the past year 2023 witnessed the qualification and training of 557 non-commissioned officers and members of the Ministry of Interior at home and abroad.
The annual statistical report indicated that the number of officers and individuals who were rehabilitated in academies, colleges and police and security institutes in Arab and friendly countries reached 146 scholarships, including 60 who held university and secondary degrees.
The report indicated that 43 officers from various security agencies were sent in coordination with the Inspector General and International Cooperation to attend training courses in the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the fields of combating cybercrime, tracking, storing and transporting light weapons, while 15 other officers were sent to Cyprus to participate in the course of preparedness for infectious diseases and biological threat coming from abroad. Six officers participated in the program of building the capacity of police instructors, and developing data for fire safety held in South Korea. Five officers from the ministry's employees were sent to complete postgraduate courses in universities and police academies in a number of Arab countries, and 17 officers attended various training courses in security fields and developing language skills in Saudi Arabia and other brotherly and friendly countries.
The report indicated that the qualification and training extended to the local level to include 173 officers, and 238 non-commissioned officers and soldiers from the security services in various governorates in a number of specific security fields with training courses in the leadership, supervisory and rehabilitation role, combat skills, language and other fields that will develop security performance and build capacity and skills to achieve the required success in various areas of police and security work.

The report revealed the rehabilitation and training plan for the current year 2024, which will include a qualitative leap in the professional performance of police officers, for example, building and rehabilitating the police school, and continuing to hold internal and external courses, as well as working to establish and establish the training body, build the database, and activate the rehabilitation and training work at the governorate level, in a way that works on continuity to rehabilitate and train the employees of the Ministry of Interior
