The Diwan of the Ministry of Interior in the city of Sayoun organized today, Sunday, an awareness lecture on the "Police Authority Law" within the awareness program (security and functional discipline for security men) implemented by the ministry under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Ali Haidan.
At the beginning of the program, the Director General of the Office of the Minister of Interior, Brigadier General Dr. Bashir Al-Haddad, stressed the importance of holding these lectures, which would raise the efficiency of performance in law enforcement and the preservation of rights and freedoms.
Brigadier General Al-Haddad added that legal awareness contributes to raising the legal and police cultural level of non-commissioned officers and members of the Ministry of Interior and enables them to carry out the tasks and duties entrusted to them to the fullest, stressing the need for the members of the Ministry of Interior to be role models in adhering to the laws and controls.
In turn, the Director of the Office of the Inspector General, Colonel Rukn Abdul Qader Al-Duais, explained in his lecture the names, definitions and configurations of the Police Authority.
