The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Civil Services Sector, Major General Abdul Majid Barak Al-Amri, reviewed today the progress of work in the passports of the Wadia Land Port in Hadramout.
The general agent toured the arrival and departure halls of the port.
Listening to the views of citizens on the progress of passenger traffic on both sides and ways to enhance it in a way that facilitates the smooth flow of movement and the completion of transactions easily and conveniently.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior was introduced by the Deputy Director of Passports of the Port of Deposit, Colonel Abdullah bin Saif Al-Kathiri, to an explanation of the level of work and clearance of transactions of arrivals and departures through the port.
He stressed the facilitation of transactions for Yemeni, Arab and foreign travelers as the port represents the only land frontage linking Yemen to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Major General Al-Ameri conveyed to the port passport workers the greetings of His Excellency the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, and his continuous interest in overcoming difficulties and harnessing the available capabilities in improving the performance of civil interests.
