The First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Mohammed Salem bin Aboud Al-Sharif, launched today in the advanced office of the Ministry of Interior in Badiyoun the awareness program   (Security and functional discipline for security and police officers ) During the period from August to December of this year 2023 . 
In the opening of the program, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Civil Services Sector, Major General Abdul Majid Al-Amiri, Major General Dr. Musab Al-Sufi, Assistant Inspector General, and a number of directors general of public administrations and deputy directors general of the ministry, the First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior praised the efforts made by security and police personnel in promoting security and stability and maintaining public tranquility.
He pointed out that the continuation of that fruit requires the continuation of job commitment during work and continuous follow-up to carry out the tasks entrusted to police personnel in the service of the citizen and the protection of his national gains and public and private facilities.
A senior agent pointed out that the developed countries today have reached an advanced level thanks to the commitment of their citizens to discipline within their workplaces and the dedication and charity in providing service to the citizen with high morals and respect, which embodies a strong relationship between the employee and the citizen .
At the opening, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Civil Services Sector indicated the keenness of the Ministry's leadership to follow up diligently in enhancing the performance of interests directly related to the citizen to facilitate access to the service and alleviate his suffering.
 They urged the participants of the program to reflect the knowledge and science they received in their practical reality that raises the level of performance no better.
The program included the presentation of a working paper on security and functional discipline and its importance presented by Assistant Inspector Major General Dr. Musab Al-Sufi.
The second paper was presented by the Director General of Total Quality at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Dr. Taher Al-Hajj ( Standards for Achieving Discipline and Job Excellence)
In the third paper, the Director of the Prevention Department at the General Administration for Drug Control, Colonel Hashim Al-Hakimi, dealt with managing psychological pressures and how to achieve a balance between personal and work life.
Over a period of four months, the awareness program includes a number of lectures and workshops aimed at acquiring knowledge and skills to improve institutional performance and achieve functional discipline among the employees of the Ministry.
