The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Security and Police Sector, Major General Mohammed Musaed Qassem Al-Amir , stressed the need to intensify efforts to establish security and stability in the temporary capital Aden and the liberated governorates during the holy month of Ramadan 1444 AH 2023AD , directing the directors general of the police in the liberated governorates to speed up the lifting and implementation of the security plan during the holy month of Ramadan 1444 , and mechanisms to enhance the security situation in the temporary capital Aden and the liberated governorates, noting that the implementation of the plan begins on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Major General Amir said in a statement to the official website of the Ministry of Interior: "The security plan aims to strengthen security control in the liberated governorates, secure markets, roads, regulate traffic, reduce bottlenecks in the main streets, strengthen the security system, and protect public and private property in the main cities of the temporary capital Aden and the liberated governorates, given the congestion it causes in the holy month, pointing out that the plan was based on the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Interior Major General Ibrahim Haydan , who quickly directed the lifting and implementation of the security plan for the holy month of Ramadan 1444 AH 2023AD , in the temporary capital Aden and the liberated governorates.
Major General Amir stressed on raising security vigilance and discipline and enhancing coordination between the various units and security agencies in the liberated governorates. To maintain security and stability , prepare to move, intervene and deal quickly when any security breach occurs, enhance the role of foot and mobile patrols in the streets and major cities, Also, to coordinate with the military and security units to participate to support the directorates during any events in a way that suits the nature of those directorates to enhance security and stability , while regulating traffic in general within the capitals of the governorates and directorates .Preventing the carrying of weapons and roaming within cities, arresting violators and taking security measures through the deployment of investigation personnel in free times from 5 pm to 8 pm, as well as the hours of silence in cities from 5 am to 9 am and the security presence to help.
