Ministry of Interior - Tunisia:
The  Republic of Yemen,  represented by the General  Directorate for  Counter-Terrorism  of the Ministry of the Interior ,participated in the sixth coordination meeting  of the  Arab  Higher  Committee. Its participation was for Supervision of Steps to Prepare an Operational Plan for the Counter-Terrorism Strategy. It held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers of the Interior in Tunis from 21 to 22 July 2012. This meeting was in coordination with the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center. 
Our delegation was represented at the meeting by Brigadier General Ahmad Al-Dhaheri, Director General of the General   Directorate of Counter-Terrorism at the Ministry of Interior. This delegation hold at the invitation received by the Ministry from the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers of the Interior. It was as mandated by His Excellency the Minister of the Interior, Major General Ibrahim Ali Haidan, as part of his keenness to strengthen the role of our country in combating all forms of extremism and terrorism.     
 The Conference discusses a number of important topics in the fight against all forms of extremism and terrorism.
