Aden - Ministry of Interior:
The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, issued Decision No. (142) for the year 2022.  It was regarding the transfer of the police sports club from Sana 'a, which is under the control of the Iranian-backed Houthi coup militia, to the temporary capital of Aden.
Article 1 of the decision stipulates that the police sports club shall be transferred from the capital, Sana 'a, to the temporary capital, Aden. Articles 2 and 3 of the decision stipulate that the police sports club shall carry out its activities from the temporary capital, Aden.  It will be in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. It is provided that this decision shall take effect from the date of its issuance and that any previous decision shall be notified.   
The Director General of the General Department of Physical and Sports Preparation at the Ministry of Interior, Head of the Police Sports Club, Brigadier General Ali Muhammad Al-Hussam, explained in a statement for the electronic portal.  He explained that the Police Sports Club is supervised by an administrative body from the General Department of Physical and Sports Preparation at the Ministry of Interior. He is pointing out that the club is accredited by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. It is considered within the clubs of the Capital Municipality of Sana'a. It also exercises its activities for various sports in accordance with programs prepared by the General Unions of Sports in the Ministry of Youth and Sports. 
Brigadier General Al-Hussam pointed out that the Police Sports Club has participated in many of the tournaments held by the Arab Sports Federation for the police. As well as, he has participated in the tournaments held by the International Sports Federation for the police including the shooting championship. He is noting that the Police Sports Club has achieved the Republic championship in the volleyball league and occupies advanced ranks in the General Basketball League. This club is accustomed to achieving the Republic championships in swimming, bicycles, wrestling and taekwondo.  
He stressed that the decision of the Minister of Interior, Major General Haidan, to transfer the club from Sana'a to Aden was timely. It is based on his eagerness to complete the transfer of all sectors and departments of the Ministry of Interior to the temporary capital of Aden, and to work from them. It is to be able to play the role entrusted to them in establishing the pillars of security and stability in the liberated governorates. He pointed out that the leadership of the Sports Police Union strives to create joint cooperation relations with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and sports federations. It is in order to support sports activities. He is stressing the readiness of the club to participate and contribute effectively to the success of sports activities. It is at the local level in Aden and liberated governorates as well as at the external level. It is in order to prove the effective presence in Arab and international forums, which reflects the good image of Yemeni sport.
Brigadier General Al-Hussam concluded his statement by stressing that the importance of transferring the Police Sports Club comes with the aim of activating sports activities during the current phase. It is in order to ensure the continuity of sports activity, to carry out many sports activities for officers and employees of the Ministry of Interior in coordination with the Ministry of Youth, and Sports. He stressed the keenness of the Ministry's leadership, represented by His Excellency the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, to provide all the necessary support to the Union, the Club and everything.  He also contributes to rearranging the work of the General Administration for Physical and Sports Preparation in the Ministry and the Union. It is in order to implement the programs of the Police Sports Club. It will be by returning trainers and players to readiness so that the Club's leadership can carry out many sports activities between police units and the Police Club to the fullest extent.
