Undersecretary Al-Ameer discusses with the Rule of Law Awareness Committee the implementation of joint educational campaigns.

Security Media/ Aden The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Mohammed Mosaed Al Amir, discussed today with the Rule of Law Awareness Committee of the Ministry of Justice, headed by Dr. Salwa Brik, and members of the Committee, the strengthening of joint cooperation in order to implement a number of awareness campaigns and initiatives in the legal aspects. The meeting, which included the Director General of the Supreme Council of Police, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Humaidi, and the Assistant Director General for Moral Guidance and Public Relations at the Ministry of Interior, Captain Waddah Farea, discussed efforts to implement joint awareness campaigns for inmates and those in charge of prisons, as well as workers in police departments and detention centers during the coming weeks, as well as the launch of a number of awareness programs through the media in partnership between the Committee and the General Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations at the Ministry of Interior represented by its Director General, Brigadier General Abdul Qawi Baash. AL Amir stressed the importance of the awareness aspect in order to increase citizens' awareness of their legal rights and duties and to know the dangers of societal phenomena such as drug abuse and carrying weapons. For her part, Dr. Salwa Brik expressed her thanks for the efforts of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior and its cooperation to launch intensive awareness campaigns to raise legal awareness, establish justice and human rights and approve issues of common interest. The meeting was attended by members of the Committee, Deputy Director General of Studies and Research at the Ministry of Justice Dr. Khalid bin Shujaa, Director of Research Department Dr. Marwan Haleb, Head of Legal Research Department at the Research Department Dr. Saida Habib, and Head of Judicial Awareness Department Lawyer Mohammed Al-Tashi. >
