The Minister of Interior meets with a number of his Arab counterparts on the sidelines of the Council of Arab Ministers of Interior

The Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, met today, on the sidelines of the forty-first session of the meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Interior held in the Republic of Tunisia, with a number of his counterparts from Arab countries.
During his meeting with the Almasri Minister of Interior, Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, the Omani Minister of Interior, Major General Hamoud bin Faisal Al-Busaidi, the Algerian Minister of Interior, Mr. Ibrahim Murad, and the Minister of State for Internal Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al-Thani, discussed ways to enhance cooperation between our country and brotherly countries in various security fields, and issues of concern to Yemen and their respective countries, and how to activate cooperation and exchange information and experiences, including qualifying and training the employees of the Ministry of Interior.
Major General Haidan appreciated the efforts exerted by the brothers in Arab and Islamic issues, as well as their support for our country.
The Minister of Interior reviewed with his Arab counterparts the developments in the situation in the Red Sea, and the continuation of the Houthi militias in targeting commercial ships, which exacerbates the suffering of citizens and increases prices, and the obstruction caused by the militias to international navigation, as well as potential environmental disasters resulting from the targeting of ships loaded with hazardous materials.
