During the past days, the security and military services in Mahra governorate foiled an attempt to smuggle a large amount of Urea fertilizer into the country. A security source said that the security and military agencies and the customs administration of a shipping port in Al-Mahra seized a number of (547) bags of fertilizer Urea, which the driver of one of the trucks tried to smuggle after hiding under the building gypsum bags. He explained that the seized quantity was hidden on truck No. (5329 /Amman ) imported under the name of(AST) and its customs broker (AST). The source praised the success of the military, security and customs administration in thwarting the smuggling process. It is pointed out that this security success reflects their vigilance and dedication in performing their tasks to the fullest extent. It is due to the support provided by the local authority. This authority is represented by the Governor, Mr Muhammad Ali Yasser, to the security and military agencies to carry out the tasks entrusted to them. All this happens in light of the difficult conditions the country is going through.
